Police report a group of four people in their 20s were robbed at gunpoint at 12:30 a.m. Friday on San Carlos and 20th streets. No injuries were reported, but the victims lost three cell phones, three wallets, two tablets, a purse and a key, according to police.

Two men, believed to be in their 20s, approached the group of four, brandishing guns. One of the men ordered one of the victims to get on the ground and empty their pockets. The two suspects took the property and ran southbound on San Carlos Street.

No arrest has been made.


A 40-year-old man was struck with an unknown object while sitting in front of a house on 21st and Capp streets at around 11:35 p.m. Tuesday. He was transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

No arrest has been made of the suspect, who is believed to be in his 20s and who fled in an unknown direction after striking the victim.
