Lots going on tonight. Apparently some crazy driver hit a bunch of parked cars on 20th and Florida in a hit-and-run. At least it wasn’t a person, which was thought earlier.

Mission Mission also has the scoop on Dynamo Donuts’s coming expansion. Indoor area? A patio? $3 donuts? Sounds like a good time.

I’d also like to point out a great photo and documentary project done by Julie on I Live Here: SF – interviewing and photographing San Francisco residents. Her latest subject is Allan of MM! Such a small city, we’ve also photographed the same musician. You can catch the rest of her work here.  Anyone else have photos of Jacobo?

You’ve been waiting for it, and it’s finally on the agenda. Look to item 5 for the Tonayense’s hearing on it’s right to keep it’s position at 19th and Harrison Street, right by John O’Connell High School. Stay tuned for more coverage from Mission Loc@l on the Tonayense issue as it happens.

Also in city planning issues, the SF Gate City Insider reports on Supervisor David Campos’s attempt to correct the clerical typo granting Gus Murad 20 additional feet in height to his proposed condos. It’s in the Planning Commission’s hands now.

It’s been busy for Campos lately, as he’s also been critical of Mayor Newsom on the sanctuary city ordinance, and an effort by the Golden Gate Restaurant Association to establish a tip credit for waiters.

  1. Shots were fired and one male injured in his vehicle when 3 males opened fire on him from behind a parked car, as witness’s account. On the scene less than 30 seconds after the incident I saw the 4 bullet holes in the drivers side door, and the bleeding male victim. A male in a Sierra club cab pickup suffered some injury after the victim crashed his car during the shooting. this all happened in broad day-light. Innocent people were everywhere-this has got to stop !!!!
