Oh man. The tension is killing us. Tied series, either team could take it. The final game of the 2014 World Seires starts tonight in Kansas City at 5 p.m., and there’s plenty of excellent places to watch the action all around town. At this point, you’ve probably already got your favorite spot, but just in case we’ve got a map!

Check out our map above for bars, cafes, and more hosting viewing parties. Given the furor of the street celebrations in the Mission, we’re guessing every business and home with a TV or radio will be tuned in. It will be impossible not to watch the game.

Let us know in the comments where your favorite spot is to watch the exciting climax of Orange October. We’re sure there’s more spots. We’ll update our map accordingly! If you’ve got video or photos of the World Series celebration and mayhem, send it to us in an email: tips@missionlocal.com.

Any predictions on the final score?

Play ball!

  1. Who is this written for, Rip Van Winkle who just woke up this morning? If you don’t already know where to watch the series in the Mission, please go watch it on Chestnut Street.

  2. In addition to watching the game, fans can listen to the game on 680. Spares you the East Coast bias of the commentators and, if you are walking around the Mission, you can burn off the tension. An added surprise: the aural imagery is often more interesting than the visuals (which you can always see later if they are worth it)
