Most Americans say that children arriving from Central America should be treated as refugees.
According to a new survey by the Public Religion Research Institute, 69 percent of Americans say these unaccompanied immigrant children should be allowed to stay in the US of A if their home countries are too dangerous to return to.

Billed as a solidarity gesture and effort “for the protection of children from Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico or Guatemala,” today’s march has been coordinated by CARECEN. You also know the group as the Central American Resource Center – a Mission-based, organization offering legal services, health support and advocacy for the Latino immigrant community.
