The California Academy of Sciences has given Mission Local some tickets to give away for its Halloween celebration, Creatures of Night Life.  You must be 21 and older to get in the door for the evening of science, zombies, vampires, and werewolves.

Hostess of horror and local drag queen legend Peaches Christ will be there!

To get a ticket, send us a picture of YOU in your Halloween costume to missionlocal@gmail.com by 3:00 pm 10/30/13 and our staff will vote on what some of the best costumes are. Winners will be announced on Wednesday night.

One ticket gets you and a friend in to the party.

Business/Outreach. We met Ana when she was still an undergraduate in communications at San Francisco State University. She went on to The University of Texas at Austin where she is completing her Ph.D. She is now a fellow at the David & Lucille Packard Foundation and she continues to help us on our business side. Ana is also a keen biker so you may see her looping around the city or on a biking/camp trip in the north bay.
