For those of you on the edge of your seat over BART negotiations, it appears a tiny bit of progress was made during yesterday’s talks. The unions offered a proposal that lowers their raise request from 4.5 percent each year for three years to 3.75 percent for the first two years and 4 percent in the third year of the contract. A BART spokeswoman said they were feeling encouraged. Read more at the San Francisco Chronicle.
