A woman was robbed in the vicinity of 19th Street and Lexington at 1 a.m. on Saturday by a man who punched her in the face and held a knife to her chest. When the suspect reached toward his pants zipper, the victim kicked him.

The suspect then grabbed the victim’s purse and fled on foot.

Two suspects in their 20s robbed a man on Bryant and 21st streets at 6 a.m. on Saturday. The suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. He gave up his cell phone and money and was ordered to the ground. The suspects fled the scene on foot.

Eight suspects in their early 20s robbed a man at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday at 24th and Shotwell streets. The suspects stole the victim’s phone and fled on foot.

Three men between the ages of 15 and 20 attacked a man at Bartlett and 21st streets at 10 p.m. on Saturday. As the three suspects skateboarded past the victim, one of the suspects bumped him and told him to move. The victim was then struck in the face by an unknown object. He sustained head injuries and was taken to the hospital.


A man standing at 16th and Mission streets was robbed at knifepoint by three teenagers at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday. One suspect pulled out a knife and demanded the man’s property. The other two youths went through his pockets and stole his cell phone.

Three suspects in their mid- to late 20s approached a man in front of his house on Folsom and 19th streets at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday and threatened to kill him if he didn’t let them inside.

Once the three were inside the victim’s house, they let in two more suspects. One suspect asked the man for money. When the victim complied, he was shocked with a stun gun. The suspects took the man’s money, TV, laptop and modem and fled on foot.

A man was walking on 25th Street near Wisconsin at 6 a.m. on Sunday when a man between the ages of 25 and 30 pushed him, pulled out a gun and demanded his belongings. The victim gave the suspect his laptop, cell phone, backpack and wallet and ran away.


An 18-year-old male robbed a man at 2:45 a.m. on Monday at 15th Street and South Van Ness Avenue.

The suspect approached the victim and held a knife to his throat while demanding his property. The victim handed over his cell phone, cash and ATM card. Police later found the suspect and arrested him.

  1. a gang of 8 people at 8:30pm on Sat. night on 24th St.? why are there no police out on 24th on a Saturday night? Why do we never see police patrolling 24th Street anymore?
