Frederick Dozier Jr., who was charged with 26 felony counts for three sexual assaults that happened on 24th Street last year, is headed back to court this morning for a preliminary hearing.
He’s facing charges for three separate sexual assaults that happened on June 17, November 18, and December 8 last year.
On June 17, 2011 at approximately 2:50 a.m. on 24th Street and South Van Ness Avenue, Dozier, who was allegedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black clothing approached a woman. Dozier allegedly grabbed her, ordered her not to scream and put his hands on her mouth. He then dragged her to a nearby driveway where he allegedly sexually assaulted and robbed her before fleeing on foot.
On November 18, 2011 at approximately 4 a.m. on 24th and Potrero streets, Dozier, who was allegedly wearing dark clothing, approached his second victim. He allegedly grabbed her, choked her and punched her, then sexually assaulted and robbed her. Dozier then allegedly twisted her neck and used a blunt object to hit her before fleeing on foot.
On December 8, 2011 at approximately 6:20 a.m. in the area of 24th and Fair Oaks streets, Dozier, who was allegedly wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black clothing, approached another woman. He allegedly choked her and ordered her not to scream, and then allegedly choked her unconscious after she struggled. The woman allegedly woke up to Dozier sexually assaulting her. Dozier then allegedly punched her in the face, slammed her face into the concrete sidewalk and took her bag before fleeing on foot.
