It’s May Day! We had a late night at Mission Loc@l last night due to an early May Day protest that started at Dolores Park and ended in a group of protesters vandalizing businesses and cars in the Mission District. San Francisco police said this morning that they made one arrest last night.

The owners of ArtZone, Locanda and Bar Tartine were among those who started cleaning up late last night as police patrolled the streets.

We have extensive coverage from last night, and we’ll be out covering a May Day march at 24th and Mission streets this morning and will post updates as soon as we have more information.
