Residents of an apartment complex reported a case of possible arson last night on Dolores at 15th Street, according to police.

At 8:36 p.m. Thursday, residents say they found the suspect inside the complex yelling “fire” and ringing multiple doorbells. He is believed to have set a fire in a storage unit that burned the property of a 56-year-old man who resides in the building.

The suspect, described as a man in his early thirties, then fled on foot, police said.

Two Robberies

Three suspects robbed a 27-year-old man on 16th and Mission Streets early this morning.

One of the suspects approached the victim at 2:05 a.m. The suspect reportedly simulated a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. Then, two other suspects approached and went through the victim’s pockets taking his cell phone, ID, and debit card. All three suspects, described as men in their thirties, then fled the scene on foot.

Less than an hour later, another robbery took place on Mission and 18th streets.

At 2:55 a.m. two suspects approached a 28-year-old man and brandished a knife. The suspects demanded he hand over his property and the victim complied. The two suspects, described as in their early thirties, then fled on foot with the victim’s cell phone and cash.

No arrests have been made.
