A 22-year-old man was robbed today around 2:25 a.m., according to police.
The victim was counting his money on the 2000 block of Mission when a man approached and slapped the wallet out of his hands. The suspect, who appeared to be in his late 20s, took the wallet and fled.
The victim chased the suspect but failed to catch him. A third party later returned the victim’s wallet, with the cash missing.
No arrests have been made.

I agree, serves him right, especially around that dump of an area, common sense, get some.
I hate saying that a crime victim had it coming, but nobody with a lick of common sense would think it’s a good idea to stand at 16th and Mission at 2:30 in the morning and count money.
