Well it was a fantastic weekend, but once again Monday rolls around, and it’s back to work. Safari users, here’s your link to today’s feature, this week’s Sunday Mission Walk.

Yesterday, the Chronicle published an editorial opposing a change in the city’s sanctuary policy, being pushed by District 9 (that’s us) Supervisor David Campos, and backed by a majority of the Board of Supervisors. The Chron says the plan “won’t work legally, practically or politically.” Mayor Gavin Newsom, District Attorney Kamala Harris and new Police Chief George Gascon also disagree with Campos’s plan, according to the editorial. Looks like things are lining up for a debate over the next few weeks, or months.

Via Plug1 of whatimseeing.com, and this is completely outside of the Mission, is The Tenderloin Project, a beautiful look through photography and film at life in the Tenderloin. See the promo video here.

Also, Kevin Montgomery of Mission Mission tested out Mission Street Food’s Mission Burger at Duc Loi Supermarket. (That’s a lot of Mission in one sentence.) The verdict? WIN. I’m hoping to remember to try the beef version tomorrow. The pictures look excellent.

Happy Monday!
