Safari users, our feature on Galeria de la Raza’s sewing circle is here.

A couple of events today – if you’ve got the cash and a love for futbol, why not check out the Las Chivas de Guadelajara v. FC Barcelona game at Candlestick Park today? Watch two great teams go at it in an equally great city. Kickoff at 5:30 p.m.

Second, Mission Pie is planning a bit of urban beautification, planting the sidewalk of thier building along 25th street tomorrow. Kickoff at 10:00 a.m. Between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., they’ll celebrate the planing as well as the completion of the mural in Lilac Alley behind their building.

Also in the same area, Johnny0 of Burrito Justice continues his animated GIF documentation of the Mission, San Francisco and basically anything that moves. Today is La Taqueria. Also if you’d like your blog diet to include writers outside of the Mission District (I always imagined the internet ended at Duboce) he’s got a couple of recommendations for ya.
