A manager in the city’s HR department, Stanley Ellicott, has been charged in the kickback scheme involving the director of the SF community grants program and a long-time SF fixer who allegedly bribed her to get city contracts. Ellicott is also alleged to have bought electronics using city money earmarked for quake relief supplies and sold the goods on EBay.
D.A. Brooke Jenkins has a challenger for her seat: Ryan Khojasteh, a 30-year-old prosecutor she fired. Khojasteh, now a prosecutor in Alameda County, accused Jenkins and Mayor London Breed of playing politics with a office that should remain โnon-political.โย
