We’re publishing a new My Mission Zine in a few weeks – a sort of guide to the neighborhood, filled with thoughts from those who live here as well as maps of resources and local haunts.
We’re asking for your help to crowd source our maps!

There’s Flying Pig Bistro at 433 S Van Ness, between 16th & 15th, although Yelp doesn’t seem to think of it as a place with coffee. It does have it, even if the hours have shifted to be more restaurant-y and less coffee shop. Also Mission Public at 233 14th St (between Mission & S Van Ness), even if it doesn’t have espresso drinks. And juuuust off the edge of the map is Rainbow Grocery’s new cafe (73 13th St), I appreciate that I can walk my bike in and they do a good latte.
Tiny Warrior is closed or closing. Might want to check out Royal Cuckoo Market on 19th between Mission and Capp… more of a liquor store than a coffee shop, but is quite a charming space. Doesn’t do pourovers, but has espresso and decent, cheap drip coffee, easily matching some of the places listed on the map.

Coffee Bar is shown one block off. It’s actually at the corner of Mariposa and Florida. Also, the new Gus’s Market opening at 17th and Harrison will have a coffee shop on the corner when it opens
