Since early August, Mission Local has been asking candidates running for Congress, Board of Supervisors and the San Francisco school board weekly questions about their positions on a variety of issues and policies.

How would Connie Chan and Scott Wiener constrain President Donald Trump’s power? Would they block the sale of offensive weapons to Israel? Where do they stand on the China-Taiwan issue?

Locally, do candidates running for the Board of Supervisors in District 8 and District 10 support the police department’s use of  Flock surveillance cameras? Would they put a moratorium on AI data centers? Do school board candidates support use of AI in classrooms?

In District 6, where incumbent Supervisor Matt Dorsey is likely to secure another four-year term, we asked him about his priorities: How would he revitalize the Sixth Street corridor? Does his drug-free housing ordinance have any teeth without changes in state law? We also asked Dorsey and his opponent about their plans to hold homelessness nonprofit accountable.

And while the incumbent supervisors in District 2 and District 4 both won handily in June, and are on track to win the next four-year term, Mission Local has their answers to previous questions on issues like housing, pedestrian safety and the “war on cars” — so you can see what they said.

Now, as ballots reach voters’ mailboxes, you can find all the candidates’ answers all in one place below.
