Salvador Mayorgam stood in a cluster of palm trees at Mission Dolores Park. He was waiting for his girlfriend to get off of work. This was the space he chose, perfectly shaded, to toss neon-green juggling clubs into the air. He’d balance one on his forehead, letting it fall behind him, then kicking it back up with his right foot. This was how he made money when he traveled South America. He said he hasn’t practiced as much as he’d like, but makes time to practice when he can, like when he waits for his girlfriend to get off of work.
