San Francisco General Hospital, seen here in 2019

It’s no secret: Our hospitals are already lacking basic medical necessities to combat COVID-19 and the worst is yet to come.

Your donations of needed supplies are welcome. Earlier, we posted a spread sheet created by  Maryann Hulsman and Ethan Garner, a molecular and cell biology professor at Harvard. That has since been replaced with this national site.

  1. IF you want a no contact pickup of masks, gloves or other PPE to donate to local hospitals, go to https://www.getmeppe-sfbay.org. We are all volunteer run and are in contact with local hospitals, making sure we only drop off supplies they actually need. Our model doesn’t send donors into hospitals, risking themselves or others, and doesn’t overwhelm hospital staff with email or phone calls. We are in contact and coordination with getusppe.org and mask-match.com as well.

  2. This spreadsheet is impossible for me to navigate using Chrome on a Chromebook. Is there a place we can download the list, or a link to bring it up in it’s own window? Sorry if I’m missing the obvious….
