Cal Academy Free Days for Mission dwellers

Coming up next week, Mission residents will be able to visit the California Academy of Sciences for FREE with proof of residency. Residents from across the entire city are offered a free weekend to visit the Academy, look at exhibits and explore the site.

Each weekend a new neighborhood is chosen; next weekend, March 22 to 24, residents living in Bayview-Hunters Point, Bernal Heights, Dogpatch, Excelsior, Ingleside, Mission, Outer Mission, Portola, Potrero Hill, and Visitacion Valley get free admission. Sadly, there is no “plus one” option, so out-of-town guests will still have to pay a regular entrance fee. More info at their website.
