A 40-year-old man set a motorcycle on fire on 16th Street and South Van Ness Avenue at around 6:25 p.m. Sunday.

The man pushed a motorcycle onto the street, poured gasoline on the motorcycle, lit it on fire and ran away.

No arrests have been made. 

Shooting

A 23-year-old transported himself to the hospital after he was shot by an unknown suspect on 20th and Bryant streets at around 12:21 a.m. on Saturday. His injuries were non-life-threatening.

Police responded to a Shot Spotter activation, and officers recovered gun casings at the scene.

No arrests have been made.  

Robberies 

A man believed to be in his 20s robbed a 32-year-old woman at gunpoint on 17th and Capp streets on Friday morning, police report.  

At around 6:30 a.m., the suspect approached the woman, pulled a gun from his waistband, and demanded the woman’s money. The woman turned over some cash, and the suspect ran away southbound on Capp Street.

No injuries were reported, and no arrest has been made.

Early Saturday morning, a 40-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were robbed at knifepoint by two male suspects of an unknown age on 18th and Capp streets.

At around 6 a.m., one of the suspects came up to the woman and demanded her purse. The woman refused, and a struggle ensued. The 40-year-old man stepped in and sustained injuries. One of the suspects took the woman’s purse, gave it to his partner, and both ran away in an unknown direction.

Both victims were transported to the hospital in non-life-threatening condition. No arrests have been made.

Assault 

On Sunday at around 12:21 a.m., a man of unknown age attacked a 26-year-old man with his fists on 17th and Valencia streets.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.
