Mayor Ed Lee and the supervisors honored the Mission High School basketball team on Wednesday evening for doing what no other high school in San Francisco has accomplished – winning a statewide basketball title.

In late March the team won the statewide Division 3 title in an 82-75 overtime win against Villa Park High School.

For this they were handed the key to the city, certificates and loads of kudos.
