  1. This was informative. How about asking folks at the 16th Street BART plaza what they think of the sanitary conditions and if they don’t approve of them, ask for their suggestions to clean up the dirty surfaces.

    In this vein, it would be enlightening to learn what the D9 Supervisorial candidates have done, are doing or will do about the public health issues at 16th and Mission.

    Have they advocated for pigeon abatement, regular cleaning pigeon poop off seating areas and trash cans and near where folks put their hands by the subway escalators and stairs?

    If the two leading candidates, Arce and Ronen, have taken steps to address the unsanitary state of this vital transit hub, I’d like to know what those steps were.
