A 25-year-old man was attacked and robbed by three men on Wednesday night while passing Clarion Alley on Mission Street. At 10:45 p.m., the man was reportedly walking northbound on Mission when approached by the three unidentified men, one of whom punched him in the lip and demanded his property.
The victim then handed over his wallet, some cash, a debit card, his driver’s license and his social security card to his attackers, who fled on foot. The man suffered minor injuries to his face, and police have not made any arrests in connection with the robbery.
Also on Wednesday, an unknown suspect snuck into a home at 23rd Street and Treat Avenue while its residents, two men, were asleep. Police report that the suspect entered through an unlocked front door sometime between midnight and 6:00 a.m. and was able to make away with three bicycles stored inside of the home. One of those bicycles has since been recovered, but the burglar is still at large.
