The Roxie Theater, an SF landmark in the Mission District, has announced their official launch of their Roxcine program.  This program offers year-round spanish language cinema, and celebrates the Latino film culture and community within SF and beyond.

“RoxCine will bring an exciting mix of films to San Francisco, from winners at major film festivals with US distribution, to special features not seen on any other screen outside of Latin America,” says Isabel Fondevila (curator).

May features include  Y Tu Mamá También & Amores Perros May 12.

Early Almodovar Week May 20-26.

A Monster with a Thousand Heads  May 27.
