The SF’s Cinco de Mayo festival got off to a slow start on Saturday as rain showers kept some visitors away from the booths and fun on Valencia from 24th to 21st streets. But as the day wore on, the music, food, and booths brought visitors in.
I grew up in the Mission, went to School of the Arts high school for creative writing. Bounced around colleges from SFState, to CCSF, to CCA where I graduated with a degree in photography.
