A 30-year-old man was shot near the corner of 16th and Mission Streets early this morning after getting into an argument with a group of people inside a parked car. At about 2:18 a.m. on Friday, the man was standing near the intersection in front of a parked four-door sedan with tinted windows. The vehicle’s five occupants are described as four males and one female in their early 20s.

An argument ensued between the victim and the group inside the sedan, leading to several shots being fired from inside the vehicle. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his hip, as the suspects quickly sped off, heading south on Mission Street. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for a non-life-threatening injury, and police have not apprehended the suspects.
