At around 4 a.m. police responded to a call that a gunshot was heard near Shotwell and 15th streets, said San Francisco Police officer Albi Esparza according to a SF Examiner report.

The police department’s Shotspotter gunshot detection system indicated gunfire in the area at about the same time, Esparza said.

No one was injured, and no arrests were made, he said.

The case remains under investigation.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
