Chaac-Mool owners Luis Vazquez and Maria de la Luz Vazquez talk to Mission Local about the traditions of Día de los Muertos and share their recipe for pan de muerto:

1 lb. white flour
1 cup sugar
Lemon and orange zest mixed with juice
1/8 stick of butter
2 eggs
1 tbs yeast (or two small packets)
2 cups milk

Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
