There’s no question that Mission District demographics are transforming. This week SF Weekly writes about the evolution of 24th Street.

Not everyone in San Francisco voted for Mayor Ed Lee — he didn’t even win a majority of Mission District votes — but most people in the city do approve of his performance. The Chronicle reports that 65 percent of likely voters approve of Lee.

And if San Francisco seems crowded now, it may get a lot more crowded: The city is projected to have nearly 1 million residents by 2035. The Bay Guardian ponders growth and density in the city.
