It’s a new year and SFUSD is giving the school lunch menu an upgrade. Beginning today students will receive food from Oakland’s Revolution Foods, which will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks to all children in the school district.

Sunday marked the beginning of new parking meter rules in San Francisco. While some residents didn’t realize that Sunday parking will no longer be free, most are resigned to accept the change. For the first three weeks the city is handing out notices instead of citations as a reminder to residents that parking meters are no longer free.
