It’s 7 a.m. and 56º, headed to 60º. It will be partly cloudy all day.

In order to help roughly 2,000 high school juniors who are in danger of not graduating in 2014, the Board of Supervisors approved $2.2 million this week for after-school classes and other programs for San Francisco’s public schools.

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that marijuana isn’t legal federally — or even in San Francisco. But as the SF Weekly reminds us, even medical marijuana users can be evicted from public housing or fired solely for using marijuana.

And the San Francisco Bay Guardian likes longstanding Mission District-based sketch comedy troupe Killing My Lobster. The reviewer credits the troupe for depicting a “humorous collage of snapshots of city living.”
