SF Weekly has picked San Francisco’s seven best end-of-the-world events, and you won’t have to go very far to celebrate the purported Mayan prophecy: four are happening right here in the Mission.

The top event takes place Thursday night (a day before the world will supposedly end on Dec. 21) at Sub-Mission, where more than 40 Bay Area comics will tell jokes about the end of the world.
