Good morning neighbors. It’s a bit chilly in the neighborhood this morning, with some early clouds. Think happy thoughts; maybe we’ll see a rainbow this afternoon, or better yet, a double rainbow.

In Sunday brunch news, it’s FREE BACON DAY at the Pork Store on 16th Street. Mention “the food is bad and the service is slow” and get a free side of bacon with your order. Thanksgiving is fast approaching, so, you know, bulk up now.

After your free bacon score, be sure to check out the final day of the 10th annual Altered Barbie Exhibition, where Barbie will be gettin’ weird for the last time this year.

To wrap up your Sunday fun day, head to Public Works for the Toro Y Moi Closing Art Reception. Entry is free with an RSVP on the event’s Facebook page. And be sure to like Mission Local on FB while you’re at it, to stay up to speed on everything Mission.
