The two-Michelin-star restaurant Saison, which has been calling the space in the back of Stable Cafe home for a few years now, is moving to SoMa. InsideScoop has … well … the scoop:

As reported earlier this year, Skenes and Bright inked a deal for a new restaurant at 178 Townsend, in the historic California Electric Light Company Building, a survivor of the 1906 earthquake. Now comes the news that they will, in fact, move Saison to that South of Market location. They hope to open the new version of Saison in mid-December 2012; Saison’s final day of service in its current Folsom Street location will be November 30.
