Robbery

A man was robbed and attacked at 16th and Capp streets at 5:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.

The victim was sitting with an acquaintance when five men approached. The men demanded the victim’s money. The victim refused and the men attacked him, fleeing with his wallet and keys.

The victim sustained bruises and was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Aggravated Assault

A 70-year-old man was the victim of assault on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of 16th and Mission streets.

The victim was walking down the street when the suspect approached him, demanding a cigarette. The victim ignored the suspect. The suspect then blocked the victim and repeated his demand. The victim pushed the suspect’s hand away and the suspect began punching him. The suspect then fled on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his head and ankle and was taken to a local hospital.

Robbery at Knifepoint

A man was robbed at 5:20 p.m. on Monday at Mission and 23rd streets. The 19-year-old victim was at a bus shelter when a man in his 20s approached, showed him a knife and demanded his money, police said.

The victim surrendered an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left on foot.
