Yesterday afternoon, San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors voted in favor of Clean Power SF, an initiative to deliver cleaner energy to the city’s residents and businesses than they currently receive from PG&E.

District 9 Supervisor David Campos, a strong supporter of the plan, tweeted: “Thrilled to announce that the Board just passed #CleanPowerSF! Special thanks to Ed Harrington of the SFPUC on this historic day.”

  1. I wonder if they have ever considered how much brake dust emanates from the cities mass transit vehicles. As well as soot from parked idling diesel delivery vehicles. But great my conscious is somewhat clearer now that I have a ‘clean’ energy alternative. *sigh* Particle pollution is worse than ever in the Mission it seems to me. Look at your window sills.
