A man’s home was burglarized early Saturday morning at Fair Oaks and 22nd streets, police reported.

Police received a call at 5:30 a.m. reporting the burglary. The victim, a 44-year-old man, heard noises in the night and woke to find he had been robbed. The burglar took computers, jewelry and cellphones.


A man was robbed early Sunday morning at 16th and Valencia streets, police said.

Police got a call concerning the robbery at 1:30 a.m. The victim, a 36-year-old-man, was walking when four suspects, described by police as men in their 20s, approached him and struck him in the back of the head. They took his cellphone, wallet and cash and fled on foot.

  1. Hey, is anyone going to address the fact that there have been a shit ton of robberies recently committed by “four men in their twenties who beat the victim and take their cash and cell phone”? Anyone? Bueller?

    1. The sooner the neighborhood puts up security cameras covering the street at all hours, the better.

  2. The cops know the problem areas. Why don’t they stake them out for a couple hours during one weekend (towards closing time) and I’m sure they would catch them. It’s getting to be old news.
