BART police are asking for the public’s help in identifying bicycles found in a San Francisco’s man’s home. Last month, BART police caught a 47-year-old San Francisco man at 24th Street and Mission BART station stealing a bicycle and arrested him.

Brett Major was arrested for burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools, and an outstanding warrant from Alameda County.

When they searched Brett Major’s home, officers found seven bicycle frames and parts which BART police believe may have been stolen.

BART has posted these photos of the frames and parts so that people can easily identify them. If you’ve had a bicycle stolen, contact the BART police investigation unit at (510) 464-7040 or e-mail Detective Wendy Sanchez at wsanche@bart.gov. You will need to show police a theft report or show proof of ownership.

Below are other bicycles recovered by police.
