It’s a food-news kind of day in the Mission. Mike Kepka of the Chronicle meets the oyster man at Sun Fat Seafood Co.
Nombe is getting a beer garden, well for one night at least. Eater SF reports that the restaurant owner is hosting its first Japanese beer garden of the summer. They’ll be serving snacks like hand-rolled sushi and grilled Kurobuta pork belly from 5-9 p.m. on June 29 at Wix Lounge (2601 Mission). A portion of proceeds will be donated to La Cocina.
