If you have dinner reservations at Bar Tartine or Locanda, we have bad news for you. A power outage has forced the two restaurants to close for the night.

Brooke Silva at Bar Tartine told Mission Local that she’s had to cancel about 100 reservations. A Locanda employee said that they were able to transfer many of the reservations to their other restaurants, Delfina and Pizzeria Delfina.

The power outage occurred at 5:28 p.m. on Thursday and has affected 141 residents and businesses on Valencia between 16th and 17th streets.

We will update this story as we get more information.

  1. The Mission is starting to feel a bit like a developing country, what withe the floods in the rainy season, and frequent power outages (power was out also last night also around the 500 club at 1:45 AM).
