The San Francisco Friends School at 250 Valencia St. is partnering with the Red Cross and local neighborhood organizations to serve as a collection site for donations for Mission residents displaced by Sunday’s fire at Valencia and Duboce. Donations will be collected through Friday, May 11.

Those who wish to donate can drop off blankets, kids’ and adult clothes, and toiletries in the school’s lobby between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The school is also hosting a neighborhood meeting this Thursday, May 10, from 5 to 6 p.m. Representatives from the Red Cross, the supervisor’s office and possibly the Fire Department will be present to answer questions and share information.
