Mosaic artist Sarah Dorrance sees herself as a painter with tiles. Her latest piece, an all-white map of the Ansel Adams Wilderness, will be featured in a show she’s curating at Back to the Picture Latin American Gallery, opening Saturday, May 26.

The show, titled “Maps Only: Radical Cartography in Contemporary Art,” presents interpretations of maps by 10 artists, including Brian Jones, Char Green, Deborah Sciales, Fernando Marti, and Heather Green, as well as Mission Loc@l’s “Mission Possible” neighborhood atlas.
