It’s 7 a.m., 52°, and headed to 63° and sun. Details for the next 10 days are here.

Every San Franciscan knows how dramatically different the weather can be in the Mission from just over the hill in Lower Haight. Now a new iPhone app called SF Climates provides a “detailed listing of the temperature, cloud cover, wind speed and chance of precipitation for 17 different San Francisco microclimates,” the Huffington Post reports.

Yesterday the Mission was shocked by a suicide in front of the gift shop at Mission Dolores, and an old grenade prompted the evacuation of the Mission Police Station. The SF Examiner reported that a resident chased down a man he claimed had broken into his apartment with another man; the resident and the alleged burglar were in an altercation near the intersection of Duboce and Valencia streets when police arrived at 8:22 p.m. yesterday. Both suspects were arrested.

Be sure to check out Mission Loc@l’s short film festival tomorrow (Saturday), starting at 7 p.m. at the Women’s Building. More info here.

Happy Friday.
