Mission High School’s fight for the AAA basketball championship gold continues tonight against the Washington Eagles.

Washington’s Brenden Glapion is a formidable force, averaging 22.9 points per game.

In the regular season, Mission lost its only conference game against Washington, 89-66. But the Bears continued the season with a winning streak, which included a win against the Eagles, 77-66.

Mission currently sits at the top of the Academic-Lang league standings, still running on a 14-game win streak. Washington is a close second.

The teams face off tonight at 7 p.m. at Kezar Pavilion.
