Last Sunday, the San Francisco Symphony held its annual free concert in Dolores Park. The program this year was in celebration of the bicentennial of Mexico’s independence. Mexico City native Alondra de la Parra conducted works by Mexican composers like Arturo Marquez and Carlos Chavez.

  1. it’s awesome that missionlocal has video of this. it was a beautiful day in the park and the Symphony sounded excellent ! this annual concert and the sf opera in Dolores Park are two of my favorite things.
