George Lipp, a Mission Loc@l reader, photographer and self-described cook who can “barely boil hotdogs” passed on these photos — taken with a cell phone — and some notes on his experience at the recently opened Crepe House at 1132 Valencia Street:

“This is the Mission so the price around $10/crepe is right on mid-market. The crepe itself had more of a pastry feel than the Normandy crepes you’ll find at Ti Couz. There was more filling and more crepe. The Soprano I had was good and had a casual sophistication…. I really welcome the nice addition to the variety that spoils us. The place had great ‘eye ball,’ not pretentious but cozy.”

The Soprano crepe Lipp could barely finish.
