A man was jumped by four or five other men at 10:58 p.m. Saturday. The victim was punched, knocked down and kicked and according to the police  the aggravated assault occurred on the 3000 block of 25th Street between Florida and Alabama streets. The victim was transported to SF General Hospital with life threatening injuries.

Sunday was calm enough to evade any incidents big enough to make the recap, but early Monday – 2:30 a.m. – a  man was approached from behind by two male suspects. Police said one man pulled out a silver semi-automatic hand gun, aimed at the victim’s stomach and said, “Give me that cash.”

He didn’t.   So, with  the gun in one hand, the suspect reached his free hand into the victim’s pants pocket and took the victim’s cash – $67, the victim told police. Meanwhile, the other suspect stood by silently and watched. The suspects fled on foot with the cash.  No injuries, and no arrests have been made at this time.

  1. What about the incident at 25th and Treat on Saturday night? There was a lot of shouting, and when it calmed down, someone was face down in the street, barely moving, and police and ambulance showed up. Hope that guy was alright.
