The High Life
This Kyle Knobel Solo show runs April 10th through May 15th. Kyle says, “I draw from actual life, using primary sources. For me, there is more truth in that. I want to create lively, vital, even iconic images.” Opening reception: Sat., April 10. 7-10pm. Eleanor Harwood. 1295 Alabama Street. 415.867.7770

I Heart Art
Reasons to love HEART: 1) Where else can you still feel classy while sipping wine from a jar meant for preserved fruit, not the fermented kind? 2) Meet new friends or just sit dangerously close to strangers at a shared table. 3) Really great art: Martin Machado’s exhibit opens Saturday with a Reception at 7pm. “This most recent collection of paintings and mixed media are focused on his time spent at sea through various jobs as a merchant marine, commercial fisherman, and sailor.” Sat., April 9. 7-10pm. Heart. 1270 Valencia Street.
