It’s expected to be the largest march for immigration reform since 2006 and its happening today in D.C. Thousands of people from across the country will meet at the National Mall to ask Congress to pass immigration reform now. Check out his twitter feed and stories leading up to the march.

Dessert-a-thon

If you are looking for an excuse to indulge your sweet tooth we have the perfect excuse. Today is the Lower 24th Street 5th Annual Dessert -a- thon. It is a Benefit for Mini Park and Neighborhood . 3pm. $20. L’s Cafe, 2871 24th St. (btw Florida & Bryant)

The Apt:

One of Mission’s best furniture resale shops Apt. was featured in a new San Francisco Magazine called Asterick. I found a hard copy of the magazine at L’s Cafe. In the article i found out that the owners came up with the name “Apt,” because the store actually doubled as their home before it officially opened.
