It’s been revealed that the mentally ill woman who’s suing the city for $10 million after being shot six times by two police officers has named ex SFPD chief Heather Fong as a defendant. The shooting took place in the woman’s Mission apartment.

Barbara Collier, den mother of Martin de Porres House of Hospitality, passed away on September 13. Services were held for her yesterday at the dining facility for the homeless, where she volunteered for 30 years. Her dedication to the center and clients garnered her the attention of Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama.

I think they would be proud of me too. I totally redeemed myself on Day 6 of the Hunger Challenge. For most of the other participants in the San Francisco Food Bank Hunger Challenge today was their last day. I will be going through tomorrow with more rice and beans. The Hunger Challenge was a triumph for the food bank, Tyson donated 100,000 pounds of chicken to their freezers on Friday.

The Bay Bridged are giving away “grants” to local bands to record at Tiny Telephone.  Calling all musicians! Tiny Telephone is considered the best indie recording studios in San Fran.
